San Francisco Transit Hub Signage
Signage, Wayfinding, Environmental Graphics, Information Design
The Regional Hub Signage Program is designed to help simplify the process of passenger transfers at key transit stations (or “hubs”) throughout the nine county San Francisco Bay Area. Sponsored by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) the objectives of the Hub Signage Program are to create a consistent look and feel for hub signage elements, improve the wayfinding experience, and add more transit information at these facilities. This program considers the needs of a broad range of users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, and motorists.
